Youth Ministry
A love of sharing your faith with children is necessary! A background in teaching is not needed. We’ll train you!
One of the greatest decisions any young person can make is to know Jesus Christ and to serve him. The world is after our youth, and so we must protect them by teaching them the word of God (Ecclesiastes 12). Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them. In this early stage, it is vital that young people accept Jesus, as their lives will become more and more busy. If the foundation is not laid, it may be difficult to build it after. Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it. This foundation is also the responsibility of the church, and at God’s mercy, we work diligently to lead our youth in the way of holiness and a deeper relationship with God. According to 1 Timothy 4:12, let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity. This is a joyful hope, and slavation is reflected in Ecclesiastes 11:9, where Solomon says, ”Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth. Walk in the ways of your heart and the sight of your eyes. But know that for all these things, God will bring you into judgment. In Psalm 119:9, how can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. This is achieved, according to 2 Timothy 2:22, by fleeing youthful passions and pursuing righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
